Public Health England Ebola FOIA disclosures

I made two FOIA requests to Public Health England in 2017, two complaints to the Information Commissioner and then a Tribunal appeal (which we won). This all relates to the export of about 10,000 Ebola samples from Sierra Leone to the UK.

I’ve published two articles with this investigation: https://www.emmanuel-freudenthal.com/ebola-lost-blood/(opens in a new tab)

The documents disclosed in the process are below.

Additional documents disclosed by PHE in the course of the Tribunal appeal

One of the documents is a communication plan in case the transfer of the samples became known. This also indicated that contrary to what PHE had claimed, they were well aware that the Royal Air Force carried the Ebola samples from Sierra Leone to the UK.
